Aloo Posto (আলু পোস্ত)

Ingredients
- 3 medium potatoes, cubed
- 3 tbsp poppy seeds, soaked and ground
- 1 tsp nigella seeds
- 2 green chillies
- 2 tbsp mustard oil
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- Salt to taste
Steps
- Soak poppy seeds in warm water for 30 minutes and grind to a paste.
- Heat mustard oil, temper nigella seeds.
- Add potato cubes and turmeric, fry for 3-4 minutes.
- Add poppy seed paste, green chillies, and salt.
- Add a splash of water, cover and cook until potatoes are done.
- Serve as a side with rice and dal.
