Chilli Paneer

Crispy paneer cubes stir-fried with peppers in a hot soy-chilli sauce — a vegetarian Indo-Chinese favourite.

  1. Coat paneer cubes in cornflour and salt.
  2. Shallow fry until golden and crispy.
  3. Heat oil in a wok, sauté garlic and ginger.
  4. Add onion and bell pepper, stir fry.
  5. Add all sauces and vinegar.
  6. Toss in paneer and stir fry 2 minutes.
  7. Garnish with spring onions. Serve dry or with gravy.
