Chilli Paneer
Crispy paneer cubes stir-fried with peppers in a hot soy-chilli sauce — a vegetarian Indo-Chinese favourite.

Ingredients
- 250g paneer, cubed
- 2 tbsp cornflour
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp chilli sauce
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1 onion, cubed
- 1 bell pepper, cubed
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, minced
- 2 tbsp oil
- Spring onions
- Salt to taste
Steps
- Coat paneer cubes in cornflour and salt.
- Shallow fry until golden and crispy.
- Heat oil in a wok, sauté garlic and ginger.
- Add onion and bell pepper, stir fry.
- Add all sauces and vinegar.
- Toss in paneer and stir fry 2 minutes.
- Garnish with spring onions. Serve dry or with gravy.
