Ingredients
- 500g firm white fish fillets
- 1 cup thin coconut milk
- 1/2 cup thick coconut milk
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 6 green chillies, slit
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 10 curry leaves
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- Salt to taste
Steps
- Heat coconut oil, add curry leaves and sliced onions.
- Sauté until soft, add turmeric and green chillies.
- Add tomato slices and thin coconut milk.
- Bring to a simmer, add fish pieces.
- Cook gently for 10 minutes.
- Add thick coconut milk and simmer 3 more minutes.
- Serve with appam or steamed rice.
