Ingredients
- 1 litre full-fat milk
- 100g jaggery or sugar
- 2 tbsp yogurt (as starter)
- A pinch of cardamom powder
Steps
- Boil milk and reduce to about 3/4 volume.
- Melt jaggery separately and strain.
- Mix jaggery into warm milk. Let it cool to lukewarm.
- Whisk in yogurt starter and cardamom.
- Pour into earthen pots or bowls.
- Cover and set in a warm place for 6-8 hours.
- Refrigerate until chilled. Serve cold.
