Mochar Ghonto (মোচার ঘণ্ট)

Ingredients
- 1 banana blossom (mocha)
- 2 potatoes, diced small
- 2 tbsp grated coconut
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 2 bay leaves
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 2 tbsp mustard oil
- 2 green chillies
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp sugar
Steps
- Clean banana blossom, remove outer petals, chop finely and soak in water.
- Boil or steam the chopped mocha until soft. Drain.
- Heat mustard oil, temper cumin and bay leaves.
- Add potatoes and fry until light golden.
- Add the cooked mocha, turmeric, and salt. Stir well.
- Cook on medium heat for 10-12 minutes.
- Add grated coconut, garam masala, and sugar. Mix well.
- Cook 5 more minutes until dry. Serve with rice.
