Momos
Steamed or fried dumplings filled with spiced chicken or vegetables — a hugely popular Tibetan-Indian street snack.

Ingredients
- 2 cups maida
- 300g chicken mince
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chilli sauce for dipping
Steps
- Knead maida with water and salt. Rest 30 minutes.
- Mix chicken mince with onion, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, oil, and pepper.
- Roll dough thin, cut circles.
- Place filling in center, pleat and seal.
- Steam in a momo steamer for 12-15 minutes.
- Serve hot with spicy tomato-chilli dipping sauce.
