Ingredients
- 1 cup semolina (rava)
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 green chilli, chopped
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp urad dal
- 8 curry leaves
- 1 carrot, diced
- 2 tbsp peanuts
- 2 tbsp oil
- 2 cups water
- Salt to taste
Steps
- Dry roast semolina until light golden. Set aside.
- Heat oil, temper mustard seeds, urad dal, and curry leaves.
- Add peanuts, onion, green chilli, and carrot. Sauté.
- Add water and salt, bring to a boil.
- Slowly add roasted semolina while stirring continuously.
- Cover and cook on low for 2-3 minutes.
- Serve hot with coconut chutney.
